The Big Boy Challenge is an annual South African motor rally which takes place on public roads, similar to the Gumball 3000. Started in 2016 by designer Kyle Collison with the idea to combine cars and entertainment. All funds raised will go to charity.

So Honda seems to have a durability problem with the new NSX, that must suck seeing that it was the first test around the Nurburgring in Germany. Thankfully the drivers of the car were ok, but by the time rescue workers managed to douse the flames, the fire had destroyed the car.

Ford Mustang

Ford is making a return with the all new Ford Mustang, its been a very popular car especially in the United States. Powered by the upgraded 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering more than 420 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque, every 50 Year Limited Edition will be equipped with the Mustang GT performance pack that includes massive six-piston Brembo front brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels. 

So well done to Lance Ruiters and Darren Rolls for getting the answer right.

So what do you guys think of the new Mercedes-Benz GLA? Well its an important vehicle to its sector competing with the Audi, Bmw and Range Rover. Yes i think it does look great, but not sure if it falls into my type of driving style.

The particularly rigid body structure provides a reliable basis for a wide range of applications. Initially the power range of the 1.6 and 2.0-litre petrol engines will extend from 115 kW (156 hp) in the GLA 200 to 155 kW (211 hp) in the GLA 250.

The two diesel engines excel with dynamic torque and outstanding efficiency: The GLA 200 CDI develops 100 kW (136 hp) and maximum torque of 300 Nm and has a displacement of 2.2 litres. It emits only 114 g CO2 per kilometre (provisional figure). The GLA 220 CDI likewise has a displacement of 2.2 litres and develops 125 kW (170 hp) and 350 Nm.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA will celebrate its world premiere at the 2013 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt. Orders will be taken from the end of November 2013, and the GLA will be in dealer showrooms in 2014.

I know that i did a review on the Laferrari last year, just wanted to show you guys some updated pics.

The wraps are finally off the LaFerrari. The Prancing Horse's eagerly-anticipated limited-series special, of which just 499 will be built, made its world debut at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show.

BMW M4

A new member to the family.

Im loving the new style of the M3 & M4, elegant and classy with a bit of devil. 

The v8 in the previous M was dropped for the all new turbocharged six-cylinder.

Not only is this new six-cylinder twin-turbo mill marginally (8kW) more powerful than the previous V8, but it's also relatively high-revving, with its maximum output of 317kW produced between 5500 and 7300rpm and the redline at 7600rpm.

Twisting force is up almost 40 percent, from 400Nm to 550Nm and BMW's lightweight design concept for the whole car means the new cars are about 80kg lighter than the previous M3.

Top speed is electronically limited to the usual 250km/h, although buyers paying extra for the M Driver's Package will be able to wind it to 280km/h.

Just something i would love to be driving on a daily bases dont you think.

Pro Tour

With the first national Pro Tour meeting of the year in these parts at Killarney on Saturday April 27, due to be followed by a lunch and discussion with Gary Anderson, one of the world’s top Formula 1 authorities, at the clubhouse on Sunday, local enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting and informative weekend.
 

Highlights of the recent Pro Tour meeting at Zwartkops included an exciting race long battle in the GT Challenge and Classic Car category between Deon du Plessis in his KTM Crossbow and a Porsche GT3 Cup car in the hands of Nicky Dicks. They were followed across the line by Jonathan Schenkman (Ferrari 430) and the Cape’s Craig Jarvis (Porsche GT3 Cup).
 

The Sunday function is a rare event that is being promoted by the Western Province Motor Club in conjunction with the national Motorsport Legends Association.
 

Anderson’s more than 40 years of motorsport experience includes the positions of chief mechanic with the Brabham and McLaren F1 teams. He then rose to designer status with the Jordan outfit where he designed the car that got Michael Schumacher started on a road to fame that was to include many Formula 1 world titles.
 

Formula 1 apart, he spent periods in the United States where he was involved in Indycar racing, while he also became involved with Adrian Reynard in Formula 3000 where their car achieved immediate success when it won the 1988 International Formula 3000 title.
 

Currently semi-retired, he has become the technical voice of F1 that we hear on the SuperSport Formula 1 TV coverage and will be coming to Cape Town direct from the Bahrain Grand Prix.
 

A limited number of tickets for the Sunday lunch (a two course meal with wine), and natter with Gary, are available for R290, or R1650 for a table for six.

The golf 6 GTi standard looks good enough, With this R20 000 bodykit it looks awesome!
The custom 19" wheels from VW with tires cost about R8000, but hey if you have it go ahead. The cars software has been upgrade to take it to 175Kw on the wheels, with upgraded power and great looks who can ask for more
